Regarding VK11and VK31 T.codes

can u pls explain me the difference between VK11 and VK31.

Hi,

The common thing between VK11 andVK31 is both are used for maintaining condition records in pricing.

Difference is

VK11 is used for maintaining condition records individually i.e., regarding pricing, taxes, discounts.We can maintain them individually for each of the condition type.

VK32 is used for maintain condition records for the required condition types in a mass scale.

Hi,

VK11 is for condition record maintainence by condition type whereas VK31 is for mass maintenance of condition types.

In VK11 we can create condition records for ALL the condition types (even including customised condition types) with application as V (SD).

In VK31 we can create ONLY the SAP Standard condition record where in can access discounts, prices, taxes and freights.

VK31 - If you are not sure about the condition type then this will allow you to choose the condition type from different groups. Different Condition types will be grouped according to their function. Ex: Prices, Discounts/Surcharges, Freight & Tax. This way you can narrow your search based on the group.

VK11 - If you know your condition type to create a condition record then this will make your job easier. Basically in the initial screen this will prompt you to enter the condition type.

vk31 can group the condition type by kind and guide the user to choose them.

vk11 needs to indicate the condition type.

Both create condition records.
