Barcode not printing for HP Color LaserJet 5550 PCL 6

Hi Experts

I have created a character format in smartstyles and the barcode name BARCLVS, then i have applied the character format to a field value in smartforms.

It displays the barcode in printpreview but when we take printout its not printing, what could be the reason.

I am using the printer HP Color LaserJet 5550 PCL 6. Please can anyone suggest me on this.

I am displaying barcode in smartform, not in sapscript. Can we do the way i have added barcode in smartforms ?. Please advise me.

Hi Ram,

The issue seems to be with the printer and not your object.

Please check my first reply and make sure you have everything configured from the printer side.

As per your first reply i downloaded Barcode.dll and installed in windows folder.

But still its not printing, what could be the reason and moreover what are the settings has to be

maintained in SPAD and SP01. I hope all settings done in SPAD and SP01.

Hi Rajaram,

Ask your basis consultant to change the device type to ZHP5550   in spad.

This device type  will support barcodes.

I guess this is an issue with the printer. Make sure the printer has the necessary settings.
