Sourcing rules based on transport lanes

I am using APO 5.1.

For a product at a location I have 2 procurement possibilities via transport lanes - one is a product specific lane, the other lane is for 'all products'. The 2 lanes both have the same procurement priority and cost.

How does the system select a source here?

If a product specific t.lane exists and other factors such as priority, costs, etc. remain same, the system selects that lane provided it can meet the requirement on time.
