I have one more doubt.

Can anyone explain me how sender SOAP adapter and receiver SOAP dapter communicates with a webservice.

Hi V Smith,

In case of sender soap adapter, the web service sents a soap request to XI using the sender adapter. So, you need to hv a webservice client which will trigger the soap request and sent it to XI. In case of outbound channel, the XI triggers the by calling the webb serivce which is residing at the address u provide in the SOAP receiver comm. channel.

sender soap adapter is a web service

as you call it from yoiur client application
