ATP to realize Commit STO quantity in Sales Order

Hi All,

I have a requirement related to STO, which is as follows:

There is stock in Plant A of 50 pieces of Material  X.  A Stock Transport Order is created to transfer 40 pieces from  Plant A to Plant B.  40 pieces from the inventory in Plant A should be allocated to this Stock Transport order.  If a new sales order for 20 pieces of Mat X is subsequently raised for delivery from Plant A, the quantity of 20 on the sales order should not confirm as the quantity of 40 out of 50 is already committed to STO.

When I ran the scenario in the system, I am able to confirm my sales order even though there is an open STO. The stocks are only committed not until the delivery creation from UD.

Abdul,

In the ATP check for the Sales order, in the Scope of check (OVZ9), under 'Incl.rel.order reqs' make sure you have selected 'X' or 'A'.
