Wily Introscope Manager issue

Hi folks,

I am trying to startup Wily introscope Manager and the following error occurs:

Introscope Enterprise Manager failed to start because:

An error occurred while trying to start Isengard.

Press 'Enter' to acknowledge....

stallation at: /usr/sap/ccms/wilyintroscope/.

Thread priority set at 1

Shutting down data persistence subsystem

Shutting down the Isengard server

caught unexpected exception while sending timer notification, java.util.concurrent.RejectedExecutionException, cancelling timer

5/28/12 12:34:08 PM GMT-05:00 [INFO] [Manager] Orderly shutdown complete.

I noticed that the index directory located at /usr/sap/ccms/wilyintroscope/trace is updated with root user. I changed the userid but they are created with root user again.

Do you know what process may update the index directory?

Hi,

I faced this error before, if i not mistaken, you can try as below:

1) Stop your EM

2) remove all files \usr\sap\CCMS\apmintroscope\traces\index or Copy it to other location as backup. Leave the index directory empty.

3) Restart your EM

Hi,

I was not able to get the exact error from the log attached.

But have you tried to uninstal the EM and install again.

And i found the below thread, where state about space issue on /trace

can you check the posiblities in your system
