List of transport requests

Hi,

We are using solution manager 7.1 for an implementation project, where the transports are planning to be moved using the CHARM functionality[Normal Correction].

Once we change the Change Requests status to 'Pass correction for test' , is it possible to find the list of requests which are going to get imported in the subsequent system while doing "Import Transport Request {Background]" from the task list in solution manager?

Hi, in STMS you can filter on various fields. Higlight the header of the field you want to use and choose filter (funnel icon)

You will then be able to enter the criteriea you need

Here, we tend to find it most useful to filter by Project ID and/or Return Code (RC) 'INIT'. Init == hasn't been imported yet

There is a another standard tcode

solar_eval-----choose change request management

provide project name

now from the RESULT LIST box choose Project task list transport object etc to get transport list info

transport owner releases the task etc which is their in this report.

also its alv to change the columns if required

this way you will achieve the desired report.

TRMO doesnt give this much information

Transaction /TMWFLOW/MAINT. Select Analyze Maintenance Cycles. Select your maint. cycle and click Display Transport Requests. this will show you all transports and their status.

Normal Correction:
When the TR is created the status of S.No will be 'In Development'

Now the Maintenance cycle phase has to be changed from Development' to 'Test'

Next when you select 'Complete Development', the status is changed to 'To be Tested'
Next select 'Confirm succesfull Test' and 'Set Ready to Go-Live'
You will get a pop-up which says 'Export started' and you can find the TR in the Import queue (STMS_Import) of your quality system.

Now you need to go to Maintenace cycle and schedule the import via charm (solman) in Quality system.
And you can find the TR moving (truck) in Import queue of Quality and on success, you can find this TR in the Import queue of Production.
Again you need to schedule the import for Production via charm and finally it will be in Production.

We usually did not come aross 'Pass Correection to Test' in Normal Correction TR.
This phase comes in Urgent Correction TR.

My question was how to find the list of transports in the import buffer of QA  which are part of the implemantation project from Solution Manager, not from the QA system.

Hi,

As usual these TR would be available in the transport queue of the respective system, you can view it on tcodes STMS_Import in Q systems

Also use the report /TMWFLOW/TRMO in solman, which extracts the TR,

Yes,we can see it from the import queue of the QA system.

I am looking for a way of finding the assosoiated transports to the said project - the import queue, need to do some verification before importing.,

Is the report which you have suggested will help in this case?
