Storage Bin number in MIGO itself

Hi

can we place bin number while doing MIGO (Goods Receipt)

The other thing is WM-QM process

In this process after completing Usage Decision,the bin should move from quarantine area to Approved bin automatically

you do not have the flexibility to put BIN number at the time of MIGO itself.

But there are options

1) you can work with Fixed BIN startegy & maintain required Bin in masterial master

2) You can define the WE-ZONE BIN in Mvt type details so that all stock with that mvt type will always appear in 902/WE-ZONE & yes back posting will happen to same BIN after UD

3) You can later process the TO from 902/we-zone to required storage type/bin.

In above case tracking will be difficult as all stock will be available in we-zone only.

First understnad the need , what excatly business process you need to map , accordingly you can find the options to cover the process.

Hello,

MIGO comes under Inventory management, so you can not input storage bin at this stage. You can do this at TO creation only.

Regards quality process, if you want to directly post material in approved bin (must be having approved storage type). This you can done in WM movement type-319, input the required storage type and bin in destination so system will move material to this storage type automatically after UD.
