Hi,

I am getting error while mapping cfolder WebDav URL into portal drive.

The folder you entered does not appear to be valid.

i have done the required setting ,please do needful help

Hi,

isn't NetWeaver Portal Drive no more positioned? Which OS are you using? Also, you do not need NW Portal Drive to access the cFolders WebDAV directory in the first place ...

Some tool like BitKinex should be helpful for you in case you are on Windows 7.

Hi Ulf,

i am using window Xp.

Below are the steps i am using

1. Go to cFolders

2. Open the collaboration which you want to see in the network.

3. go to Additional functions

4. Click on WEBDAV URL

5. Copy the WEBDAV URL

6. Open Internet explorer or the Portal Drive.

7. On the internet Explore page click on File --> Open

8. Paste the URL

9. Check the Check Box for Open as Web folder

10. You can see all the folders in cfolders for that particular collaboration

i have done all required setting please let me know if i missed any setting

Hi,

your steps taken sound about right, did you try to create a network location in File Explorer in XP as well?

I also had thought you wanted to access the cFolders configuration folders via WebDAV, not the content / files on cFolders collaborations, but that isn't much different besides the authorizations, which might also be an issue in your case (you do not get a pop-up asking for user and password?)....

i have tried in both in file explorer  & portal drive,,but facing error

i am getting pop up for the  user id  & password in file explorer

is there any additional setting  for this?

i am not able to access Webdav URL .Please let me know  if there any security issues.

When i acccssing through portal drive its showing connection failed
