How to install IDES on existing ECC 6.0

Hi Gurus,

Good day.

Just wanted to check is how can I install IDES on the existing system which is ECC 6.0 EHP5? Is there any component that I need to add?

As far as I know if you're going to build a new ECC system with IDES there's a separate installer on this.

Please advise.

Please go through the following SAP note Note 799639 - IDES - General Information about the usage of IDES systems

to get an overview on IDES systems .

IDES is not an add-on but a system with data of a model company with many clients. So it is not possible to have IDES installed on ERP 6.0 EHP5 . Its comes as a pre-configured system that is installed at 1 shot.
