Solution Manager 7.1 Satellite System Configuration & Managed System Configuration

  Can anybody guide me regarding Below

• How actually solman 7.1 works(Data flow between satellite system and solution manager)
• How to configure Satellite system in solman7.1

Hi Aditya,

First of all I assume you are done with System Preparation & Basic Configuration in "solman_setup"

If you Satellite system is a Java System, you will need to complete step 3.1 in Basic Configuration i.e Configure CA Wily introscope

You will get all the help regarding that here http://service.sap.com/diagnostics

Also refer SAP notes 797147 , 1273028

After configuring Wily Introscope,

start with Managed System Configuration (option 3 in solman_setup)

Deploy Introscope Agent in Satellite System and start with setup.
