Client to Client communication(EDI/ALE)

Dear all,

I am using IDES on LAN

plz suggest me on following

1.> Is it possible to communicate in between two clients(EDI/ALE)

2.>Is it possible to transmit data under single Client.

if it require different configuration then plz tell me

and IF POSSIBLE GIVE ME SIMPLE EXAMPLE TO TRANSMIT DATA.

yes it is possible to transfer betwen clients. make use of ALE

what u want to do here?

Dear,

Under single client can I transmit data from EKPO table to ZEKPO table using (ALE/EDI IDoc). and how.

f/n module be used for this purpose

also you can make use of userexits/badi....ekpo table gets updated when ever a change is made to a PO. so inthis case this userexit/badi will help u a lot in posting the same data to ur customized table also.

sure you can

you set your communication by setting SAP <b>client</b> number in RFC destination (logon tab) of your outbound port (We21)

you can find lots of SAP ports, RFC dest info
