Improper format when downloading the ALV report ran in background into excel

Hi Experts,

I have a custom ALV hierarchical report which I am running in background. When I am downloading the report in the excel format, in the excel, there are no columns appearing. Every detail in a row is getting into a single column and the total report is looking odd. When the same report is ran in foreground, the excel looks pretty fine. Please help me in this regard.

See if there are any special characters in the report, you will face this type of issue, if you have special characteristics on the report.
