I can't fine MOPZ in /SAP Solution Manager: Work Centers/.

have you any idea?

Hi Bogdan,

you are looking for the Maintenance Optimizer (MOpz) in the software components, but MOpz isn't one. The Maintenance Optimizer is a tool which you can find in workcenter Change Management of SAP Solution Manager.

With "Common Tasks" you can start a new Maintenance Transaction.

do you know how I can increase SP for BW7.3 from SP03 to SP07. I'd like use for this SolMan?

Hi Bogdan,

you have mentioned the Maintenance Planning Guide in your reply and there you can find some examples how to work with the Maintenance Optimizer.

Essential for that is that the systems you want to update / upgrade are registered correctly in SMSY/LMDB. This information is part of chapters 2 and 3 in the guide.

As soon as this is done you can start a MOpz transaction for the according product system and all possible update/upgrades are calculated for you and you can choose e.g. the SP-Level you want to update to.

Hi Bogdan,

it is really difficult to answer your questions when the topics they are related to are not described in detail and change very fast. Before running a maintenance transaction you have to fulfill some prerequisites which are described in the documentation https://help.sap.com/solutionmanager and some current information can also be found on https://service.sap.com/mopz (where the maintenance planning guide and some further information is also linked).
