Connection Data for Import from SAP System, 8 letter hostname limitation

Hello All,

I have to configure a connection to a R/3 system for IDoc data structur download.

At Integration Builder (IR) you are able to add the required parameters under "Connection Data for Import from SAP System".

Now my problem:

We using 9 letter hostnames for our systems and at system field you are able to add only 8 letters. What could be the solution?

Hi,

jus type your SID and later on when you will connect to R3

(via imported objects)

you will give a whole hostname and system id

this will work
