Difference bw Source E-mail and Admin Alert Email in company set up

Dear Experts,

What is the difference between the Source Email and the Administrative Alert E-mail which is specified during company set up ? What kind of emails would use which Email ID ? Any help would be appreciated.

Hi Harmeet,

The Source email and Administrative email are used in the “from” email address for system generated emails. For example, when a sourcing document is created, collaborators receive an email notification. The “from” address on this email will be the email address entered in the Source email field on the Company. Similarly, when a new user is created in Sourcing, the user will receive the login credentials in an email. The “from” address for this email will be the email address entered in the Administrative email field on the Company.
