Hello everyone,
I have got my sapcar.exe and my Kernel SAR files in 1 directory.
I want to extract the SAR files so that they go into a "Kernel" subdirectory
I have tried
sapcar -xvf filename.SAR \kernel
but it fails.
What is the correct syntax to specify the destination foder for the extracted files?
Thank you
Regards
Corinne
Hello Corinne,
Go to the destination directory & excute the following command.
SAPCAR -xvf <.SAR file path>

Hi All,
I have tried the suggested solutions but it din't worked.
At the end I renamed the sapcar exe and unpacked everything in the same directory. The different name ensured I didn't have a clash as the sapcar existed int he package being extracted.
Thank you for all your suggessions
Corinne

sapcar -xvf filename.SAR then give full path
for ex: sapcar -xvf filename.SAR c:\kernel
