Preliminary Purchase Requisition

Hi friends,

I am facing a problem regarding Preliminary Purchase requisition.

In standard system whenever I go for Preliminary Purchase requisition the RelCost gets deactivated and the material tab grey out. The Planned cost does not get updated.

This is so because it is not yet clear at this stage where the material will actually be consumed, so no planned costs are shown for these components.

In my case in one client the scenario is working fine but in another client it is behaving like a scenario of reservation.

When we attach a stock item 'L' in the pop up the Perlim.PReq - WBS appear.

I want to know which setting deactivates the RelCost and grey out the Material component's tab when I select Perlim.PReq - WBS.

Check Field status, Screen layouts for PR and Field Selection for work break down stractures for the same..............

Hi Sadiq,

I think there is nothing to do with Screen layout or WBS field selection.

It is a std behaviour for Advance procurement. Because if u take the same mat as Reservation CostRel will remain active & the screen will be open.
