Direct Procurement in Classic Scenario with reservation

Hi Friends,

We utilize the functionalities of Classic Scenario with SAP SRM 7.01 and ECC6 Materials Management Module.

In that we are implementing the Direct procurement and also based upon the stock availability, ECC system will creates either reservation or PR and Purchase order.

If there is stock exist the reservation has to create If not either PR or PO will be created.

Could you please provide your input how to achieve by using Classic scenario and As I know that, can be done using extended Classic scenario's

The above functionality is available in 7.02.

However if you take the external requirements (from ECC system for inventory items without account assignments) to SRM and source it in sourcing cockpit and convert to PO, it is possible through classic scenario.

The PO will be created in ECC directly without account assignment.

How should I achieve in SRM 7.01 ??

Please note: I am NOT taking requirement from external system (ECC). The requirement will be initiated in SRM system.

Hello,

From what I understand, you could implement your requirement by customizing following:

tcode(SPRO) -> SRM ->Cross-Application Basic Settings->Define Objects in Backend System (Purch. Reqs, Reservations, Purch. Orders)

Choose the values in Int Proc and Ext Proc appropriately for your Purchasing Group/ Product category combination.

You can use FM: B470_RESERVATION_CREATE & BAPI: BAPI_RS_CREATE1, to create reservations in the backend system. It works in Classic Scenario.

Reuiqrement is that when creating SC for material, system should created material reservation for quatity which is available in stock & for rest quantity it should create PR. 

SC created for order quantity 100 nos., now system should create Material reservation for 45 & PR for 55.

Does system check the stock ??

Does it possible to check the warning message or error message while creating the SC If the stock is exist in ECC system ?? Please provide the logic
