sidadm password change in application servers of same SID

Hi all,

We have password change applicable to SIDADM in ASCS box  we have changed it , another 3 apps  having same old password.

We are on ECC6.0 /DB2/Linux   does it require all systems to be same password for SIDADM , is it going to be any impact ?

After the change i have not seen any issues in production ....

As per  the info i have only the SIDADM user will be used in communication , password will not be  considered so even the password is different between the ASCS system and applicaation servers it should be any effect on the performance of the system.

Please suggest ...

Thanks,

Subhash.G

Hi,

You can have different password of <sid>adm user for ASCS and other application server. It would not impact the system.

Thanks
