difference between CTS+ and CMS

I understand the CTS+ and CMS can both be used to transport ABAP and Java objects.

Also both generate a request number ....then what is the difference/ advantage of CMS vs CTS + ?

will appreciate if you can give exact difference as i have gone through many links and couldnot find the difference

hi,

CMS is only for java objects (not for abap)

CTS+ for both

CTS+ is the newer thing and SAP will probably go for that with all new developments

CTS+ it is used to transport both java and abap objects (what was posted earlier )
