Golden tax system : China

Hello

We are implementing Golden tax system in our ECC6 system with EHP4.

We have activated business function for the related customization to appear in the SAP customizing /  easy acess.

We did a mock & could get the file generated. I have 2 questions.

1) We need to change the file structure as we need to add some more fields as per business requirement.. We have 3 badi's (standard) to do so. Has any one done such a thing ? Please share experience

2) SAP has recommended to upgrade to EHP5 from the existing EHP4 of ECC6. Could never understand why this is required as we could generate the files ?
