Setting Up Time Profile/Propagation Range for PP/DS Planning Run.

Hi Experts,

I am trying to configure PP/DS background planning run. At transaction code /SAPAPO/CDPSB0, I have found couple Time Profile variants like SAP001 and Propagation Range = SAPALL. My question is if I need to setup different Time Profile and Propagation Range variants rather than available ones. Where do I need to go to setup these? or Are these Time Profile & Propagation Range variants are by-default there?

I need to know transaction code where you can create your time profile/Propagation Range value, if there is any option given in SAP APO.

Also I want to know about PP/DS horizon setup for Automatic Planning Run.

Hi Shaan,

Go to the IMG with:

SPRO -> Advanced Planning and Optimization -> Supply Chain Planning -> Production Planning and Detailed Scheduling -> Detailed Scheduling.

There, you will see transactions for Propagation Range and Time Profiles. Read the IMG help for more details on each.

The planning run horizon is basically what is set up in the model (TA //MVM) or in the product master.
