Incorrect Monthly period Amount of BBP

Hi Experts,

I haev a situation in BBP where I am getting  wrong monthly Period BBP amount .

the calculation should be like =  Net Amount / Period

Here in our case total amount is 372.37. So If we divide it by 12 as the period. We should get 31.03.

But we are getting the monthly charge as 28.63. Which comes in to the action,

when we divide net amount by 13. Means take period as 13.

372.37/13 = 28.63.

So we are getting this  wrong amount due to this wrong period of 13. But Period given on billing doc is 28.03.2011 to 27.03.2012.And we did the move in on 10.03.2011. And BBP was created at the time of move in(on 10.03.2011). And its BBP cycle is 28.03.2011 to 27.03.2012. And we are getting the problem mentioned above.

So I want to know in which scenerios these period deviation can occur?

Thanks and Regards,

Jasvindre Kumar

Hi Jasvinder,

There can be below reason for the additional line item (13th) considered for calculation.

The BBP period is 28.03.2011 to 27.03.2012 which includes 12 months...perfect, but Move-In is done on 10.03.2011 and as you said the BBP is also created on same date, so system might have considered these 19 days ( from 10.03.2011 to 28.03.2011) and considered the additional 13th line item for calculation.

Check, may be it will help you out.

Hi Experts,

I tried to create a case w ith same scenerio (taking 19 additional days to year). But my test case is working fine. So this is not the reason as perr of my understanding.

Also I am not getting the 13 lines in BBP plan. In BBP Plan it only shows 12 lines. But at the time of Amount calculation for each line its  taking the total no. off period as 13 instead of 12.

Please suggest some thing else.

Thanks and Regards,

Jasvinder Kumar.
