we did such tests with SeleniumABAP.
The tool produces ABAP Testcoding, which you can use for regression tests.

It seems eCATT can handle webdynpro tests as well... gonna try to give that a go.
Even UFT(HP) supports webdynro. Install the SAP UI5 addin and then try to record sample scripts.
I use QTP and UFT in my team for webdynro autotests.
