Dear gurus

           could i know what is message variant before posting i checked in Google and sdn forum also

above the madhu posting it fallow .

normally message class and attributes creates at SE91 , here you define based on class you define ,

after you set the that particular messages it comes warring , error messages, no message.

sales , delivery, pgi , billing issues  , different types of messages

like OVAH- here maintain the V4 Messages(sales)

OMCQ- MM related messages

OBA5- finance related issues

OVM1-PGI messages

Hi Narra and Venu,

In general message we can display in various types like information,warning,error etc.Related to abap we can create a message class and use the messages how ever we want.When it comes to functional there are some standard message are there you can maintain what type you want.Check in help.sap.com there is a good link in that.
