Table type Inactive in quality

Hi All,

We created a Outbound proxy in DEV and moved it to quality(transport returned ans error code 8).

When we tested in Quality Environment the interface was not working.

After analysis we found that the Table type was not Active in Quality.

I have searched several forums on this

I found that might be some objects were inactive(In DEV) while transporting to QA.

Then i have checked in DEV, i found that Table type was Active only.

i was in a confusion.

so i thought i would be better to re-transport whole outbound proxy again.

i have deleted whole proxy( sproxy-->outbound interface--->right click(delete proxy) )

Regenerated the proxy again and i have checked that every object was Active state only and then transported it  to QA.

I found the same issue again (transport returned ans error code 8).

i have checked in QA , the same Table type was not Active.

Can any body explain what would have been the problem.

and how to resolve this issue.

Hi Sai,

You need some further investigation to find out the source of your problem. Go to transport log and check what was the exact error message that caused the return code = 8. Only when you know the exact source of the problem, you can try to get rid of it.

In transport log i have found this

Error:

Program ZCLCO_MI_PROD_SUPPLY_SALES_FORCP, Include  ZCLCO_MI_PROD_SUPPLY_SALES_FORCU: Syntax error in line 000011

The type 'ZCLDT_PROD_SUPPLY_SALES_FO_TAB' is unknown.

this ZCLDT_PROD_SUPPLY_SALES_FO_TAB table type was not getting activated in QA.

but in DEV it is active only.

Hi All,

The issue is resolved.

I don't know what was the problem with the Table type.

Earlier the occurrence was (0...Unbounded) and changed it occurrence(0..1)

and again i have changed it to occurrence(0...Unbounded) in Data type.

and regenerated the proxy and transported it QUA and was working fine in QUA.
