Cant Display Content Server information in browser.

Hi all,

I have installed SAP Content Server 6.30 on Windows Server2008 r2 standard.

i have configured IIS. but when i am testing Content Server by using

http:\\ipaddress:1090\ContentServer\ContentServer.dll?serverInfo

its doesn't showing Content Server information. getting error .dll file is downloading after entering URl

Its not correct behavior to download file, unexpected error is showing

need to Show information of Content server.

So please can you tell me any reason or any solution to testing of content server.

Hi Deepak,

I am also facing the same issue. Can you please let me know how did u overcome this issue? What do u mean be compatibility issue and how did u resolve it.

Problem solved!!!

Error has occurred due to compatibility issue.

This is so funny! May I ask why do you spent time to let us now that you solved the issue but just do not post how you did it?

I got the identical problem, when trying to view a PDF in the travel module.

First thing I did was to check if the problem was related only to PDF's. Which it was.

Then I checked if the problem was only on one computer, which is was.

Then I did a repair of the ADOBE X installation, and then the problem was solved.

HI all,

Now I am getting '

I have reinstalled SAP CS and above problem get solved.

but still one error while testing

by using this URl

http:\\ipaddress:1090\ContentServer\ContentServer.dll?serverInfo

We are getting following error,

I have set Anonymous authentication but problem not solved ,

HTTP Error 500.0 - Internal Server Error

The page cannot be displayed because an internal server error has occurred.

Please guide us.

Need to create SAP DB instance in SAP DB tool for testing SAP Content Server??

Dear Dipak,

I think you need to add the repository name as well here. To check the format if the URL you can use Connection info button in transaction OAC0.
