Webdynpro hotkey problem

Hello All,

I am facing a strange problem. I have spent days already but cant figure out what the issue is.

We have a input field e.g Band in one of the views and this input field has a f4 help defined.

Now we also have a save button for which a hotkey ctrl + s is defined.

Now if I change Band value from Band1 to Band2 and then hit save, then the context for this field already has the updated new value.

However if I try to do the same operation but instead of hitting save, I use the Hotkey, then while debugging I notice that the context still has the old band value and not the new one.

Now if I try to do the same with another input field for which there is no f4 help defined then it works fine both with clicking save and using the hotkeys.

Any idea why this is happening?

Yea.. Strange, but not so much in SAP . I'll try to check this one too & update you.

Please raise a message with SAP too.
