SAP SOLMAN Configuration: Managed System Configuration

Hello Experts,

We have finished Initial and Basic configuration for Solman 7.1, Now we are in Managed System Configuration phase,Here in the "Enter System Parameter".It is asking for Load Balancer Detail.Like Load Balancer host and port.But we don,t have Load Balancer,But it is red stared there. That means we have to put the detail.

Please let me know that what we have to do now.

Hi,

We had similar problem during the managed system setup. Seems like a bug which has made this a mandatory field. We put a dummy value and completed the setup. Currently the capabilities seem to be running fine, so does not seem to be a major issue.

@Lata: Adding from SMSY is not a recommended approach SolMan 7.1 onwards and would increase chances of system definition inconsistency.

hi

i tried to put 3600 port but on step 11 check configuration step failed with error

"A technical error stopped the check execution : Error No Load Balancing data provided for DEV"

any idea how to solve this problem??

tcode smicm, click on  , and use the HTTP, Port, HOST name.

This is now on the manage system.

hi,

you can add systems from SMSY tcode instead from here. SMSY is better approach.
