What happens to batch after batch split?

hi all,

once a batch split has been done on a delivery item, what happens to the batch and how & where does the quantity decrease....

how to know how much quantity is available for the batch for that material so that can we use the same batch for next time.....because batches are attached to a handling unit.....

in delivery process, select the line item.in bottom batch splitt buttom is there. pls u will stroage location,quantity and batch number.

HI Subba,

What we are doing in a batch split is for a single delivery we are trying to pick material from multiple batches instead of a single batch, you can do this manually and that is waht is done using batch split screen in delivery. The quantity gets reduced from the batch from which you are picking up the material and also reduces the delivery requiremenst once you do PGI.

You can get to see the stock of material batch wise using Transaction MMBE.
