guys,
I have uploaded customers via flat file in mpos. In system customers are mapped with prefix0 for example if the customer is 232425 then they are maintained as 0000232425. Now in the flat file i need to maintain 0000232425. but in excel csv file leading o's are not taking can someone suggest. how to fix this in excel or if i upload as 232425 it shud take it as 0000232425. i have tried the alpha settings in info object as well. Request ur help.

If you want to fix it in excel, go to format cells, Number tab, and custom your requirement.

As you said, in CSV, it will not allow you to save any formatting. So, it is better to maintain everything in excel format for maintenance. In excel, you can very well maintain your leading zeros, by defining the format of the cells as Text.
For loading, you save the excel file as a text file and use that.

Hi Shruti,
Please add symbol -> ' followed by leading zeroes and followed by Customer Code. This should help retain the leading zeroes excel.
