error converting universe by information design tool (datasource is hana)

I can not be converted universe(.unv) to universe(.unx).

Data source is HANA.

<Steps to Reproduce>

1. create universe(.unv) by universe design tool.

2. convert universe(.unv) to universe(.unx) by information design tool.

3. error occurs.

<Error messege>

Error converting universe.

Specified RDBMS is invalid : SAP HANA database 1.0

Hi Daisuke,

The version fo your BI environment is critical here.

HANA is not supported with BI 4.0 below Feature pack 3. If you are using any BI 4.0 version, which is not Feature pack 3, it would not be supported.

But BI 4.0 Feature Pack 3 supports HANA. Currently BI 4.0 Feature Pack 3 is not Ramp Up. See the Product availability matrix of Feature Pack 3

Hi Arijit, I think you are partially right because we are using BO 4.0 and we have built some HANA universes and they are all working fine.

The slight you just posted is for CMS and Auditing databases of BO. With FP3, you can install BO platform on top of HANA.

I don't think Daisuke is trying to install BO CMS datbase and Auditing database on top of HANA.

Yes you can convert a universe in BI 4.0 SP2.

Can you please reform the sentence "So, what will that the specification is that it can not be converted Universe". I am not sure what information you are actually looking for.
