Martin, did you find a solution to this yet? I have a similar issue with SPS07 in PI 7.30

Many thanks

Hi Andreas

We had the same error message with 7.30 SPS07.

Please try to restart the java instance and start to deploy again.

Hello Laszlo,

Thank you for the reply. I have tried that and it doesn't work. I have various components failing with the error

Detailed message: 1. Exception during generating components of [sap.com/tc~bpem~thl~ear] application in [app_libraries_container] container.

         -> com.sap.engine.services.deploy.container.ApplicationDeployInfo.setFilesMap(Ljava/util/Map;)V

I have opened a message to SAP and waiting for them to come back. I will update this thread as soon as I know, In the meanwhile, any other ideas are very welcome!

Regards

Andreas

Hi Andreas

I never found a solution, i had to reinstall NW 7.3 without that component and worked fine, so it has to be something withing BPM Component or with that package.

If you get response from SAP support would be great

Hi,

From the message:

Could not establish connection to AS Java on [bnscpd1BOdesa:50204]. End of stream is reached unexpectedly during input from Socket[addr=/172.16.1.152,port=50204,localport=52796]. Check if the host and port specified are correct and AS Java is up and running.

Seems the online deployment fails saying the Java system is not up. Try starting up the system and continue with deployment.

Hi

I did restart the server but still same issue.

On the log you can see the connection to Java is valid, therefore proceed with the deploy, but somehow it fails without much further information.

May 18, 2012 9:31:02 AM [Info  ]: Connecting to Deploy Controller on host bnscpd1BOdesa port 50204 with user J2EE_ADM_BJD.

May 18, 2012 9:31:04 AM [Info  ]: Connection to AS Java on host bnscpd1BOdesa, port 50204 is valid.

Thanks!

Hello Martin,

you can try to patch the JVM to the latest update first, and then repeat deploy.

Check server process traces and ICM logs too, as written above. If you find java-related errors, then patching JVM could be useful
