Add Transport requests created outside CHARM to a CHARM request

Hi,

We have configured CHARM for an Implementation Project on Solution Manager 7.1, How can we can add the tranport requests{customizing & workbench] which were already created outside CHARM to a newly created solution manager change request[Normal Correction], so that those changes can be taken through CHARM?

Thanks for the reply, The mentioned note talks about the possiblity of adding to the task list - is there anyway to add it to a change transaction?.Also if we add it to the task list will we have any issues moving it to the subsequent systems?

Also we have a implementation project where charm is enabled,is there any way we can delete/withdraw change requests which were arleady moved to QA?

HI Sam

There is no way you can automatically add those object to ChaRM TR of NC or UC

but the only option is

Goto se09 and in the ChaRM TR of any UC/NC use the INCLUDE objects option and provide the old TR

If you add them to task list via that not there are no issues other than Reporting issues because it has no connected charm documents

I am not sure what do you mean by above ....you can withdraw any correction using CRM_SOCM_SERVICE_REPORT.

Dump in CRM_SOCM_SERVICE_REPORT using unconditional withdraw

Note 856668 - Report CRM_SOCM_SERVICE_REPORT does not set status

Note 1030451 - Report CRM_SOCM_SERVICE_REPORT processes incorrect status

you can check for more notes on marketplace and if still this doesn't work you can raise OSS further.

Hi,

Unfortunately, we faced similar issue too during CHARM implementation. The only option seemed to be - to create new TR via CHARM and include the changes from the outside CHARM TRs into the TRs create via CHARM. Perhaps someone here has more creative ideas.
