hello everybody,
I need migrate a XI scenario vs a new PI 7.1 installation.
No problem for SLD and Repository, but i have problems with Directory.
During import PI ask me the transport target, but i cannot have in my case because we have just one XI installation and we want migrate Business scenario poit to point. BS need maintain the same name .
It's possible?
or i need create again all ID by hand?
thanks
Alex
Hi Allesandro,
I've experienced this and a little bit tricky in terms of migrating objects in in Integration Directory from old environment like XI to PI (7.1 or 7.3).
You probably created use new SLD of PI and migrated all SLD content from XI to PI? (Please confirm)
If yes, are migrating objects from your XI production to your new PI development or migrating XI Dev objects to PI Dev Objects?
Cheers,
R-jay

Hi Alessandro,
Have you tried to import the business system directly from the SLD and activate and later try to import the .tpz configuration files from your old system?

Hi Alessandro,
I agree with Raj. SAP says that is possible:
Point 3.2.2

Hi Alex,
There is a concept is called Transport Traget and Groups so check below my blog
http://scn.sap.com/people/rajasekhar.reddy14/blog/2011/02/21/transport-targets-and-groups-in-the-sld
If you are transporting objects from old PI system to new PI System then create same Bussiness system name in new System and transport the objects it should work.
Regards,
Raj
