Regarding SAP Content Server

Hello All,

We want to install SAP CS on Windows server 2008 R3 standard (64 bit), we have SAP CS 6.30 version

But latest version of SAP CS is 6.40.

1. Can you please tell me what is difference between SAP CS 6.40 and 6.30?

2. Can we install SAP CS 6.30 or not ?

3. which JDK version we need to install for windows server2008 r2(64bit)?

Hello Sir,

I gone through this links but i have not found any information related version 6.40.

I need to understand the difference between SAP CS 6.40 & 6.30 because client has been given us SAP CS 6.30 for installation but latest version is 6.40 so i got confused,whether i  install SAP CS 6.30 or not.

if there is no major difference  between both then we will install SAP CS 6.30.

But we didn't get features of both version.

So please guide us!!

Hi Dipak,

from content server side I found also the following information about where to  find the installation guide for installing the content server in the following path:

  service.sap.com/contentserver  -> Media Library -> literature
