Storage location change

Dear Guru

Greeting from Sanjeev

I have issue,My client when they receives the rejected material they donot want to show the sales return

They shows the purchase & thro 173H they receive the material & do MIGO.

but due to oversight for some material they missed to maintain the storage location, Now the goods are showing in

different storage location.We wish to change storage location.Please help

Hi Sanjeev,

You can do this by using MB1B tcode in which you can use Movement type as 313.

Please try this in testing server and perform this task to Prodcuction server.

Make sure that enterprise structure contains 3 storage locations for a material and also Make sure that the material has been extended to 3 storage locations

Transferring the goods: MB1B

Ø Go to MB1B = Transfer of posting

Specify the movement type [453]

Plant , Storage location (Receiving storage location)

Specify the business area

Customer

Issuing storage location (From which we are transferring the returned goods [rectified]

Ø  Save and Exit

Ø  Go to MMBE and check the stock balance for storage location whether the stock balance has been increased or not

Ø  Go to MMBE/MB1B and check the stock balance for whether stock balance has been reduced or not

Ø  Go MB1B (sending un-rectified goods from one to another stor.loc)

Movement type [453]

Plant ,Storage location ,

Specify Business area, Customer number and issuing storage location

Save and Exit

Hello,

Do these Storage Location Belong to same Plant? If yes, then there is no issue & you can transfer the materials between Storage Location without worrying about Excise Registers.

But if the Storage Location belong to different Plants then the Excise Credit will have to be transferred to the receiving plant.
