Custom field in Create Travel Request link in ESS

Hi Experts,

As per out client requirement, we need to add few custom fields in Create Travel Request in ESS. Could you please help in how to create custom fields.

Below custom fields are rwquired:

1. Travel Request type: Drop down need to provide with Company Paid Travel or Employee Paid.

2. Sim Details: text field

3. Visa Detials : Text fields.

Hi Ashwani.

When you want to use new Input-fields in Travel request Web Dynpro you can first look at the Customizing, if there are a few fields, that are not enabled and that could help you.

Financial Accounting -> Travel Management -> Employee Self Services -> Interface Configuration for Web Dynpro Interface in Travel Management -> Schema and Single Field Control for Web Dynpro.

When these fields do not help you you can modify the Standard Web Dynpro Views in package PTRM_WEB_UI. These WDs are made with the Floorplan Manager and not so easy to modify/understand because they depend on each other.

We change the GENERAL_DATA_VIEW View in Web Dynpro FITE_VC_GENERAL_DATA and it works fine.
