Alert emails not triggered

Hi,

I have defined alert category(using tcode: ALRTCATDEF) and alert rule(in RWB); I'm not getting any emails when there is error.
but i do get emails when tried with program: RSALERTTEST.
  what are the trouble shootuing guides?

Hi Prema,

don't give strict conditions to your alert rule and have a try.

e.g. if you configure both sender and receiver SWCV, Namespace, Interface, the error message like "No Receiver Could be Determined" would not be catched by the alert rule.

Also please recheck if your alert catch both adapter engine and integration engine exception in alert rule configuration.

Thank you Kevin. below is the rule i have defined; i dont think it is strict condition.

If you set alert rules for specific interface then there should not be problem in getting email alerts. you can glance this link for troubleshooting alerts

Hi,

If you have configured Alert rule correctly then when you run interfaces end to end you will get laert mail.

check below link and search in scn too

thanks Raj; i did configure rule and category correct and i have end to end interface. i dont know why it is not triggering any alert.
