Portal configuration in Solution Manager

Hi All,

We are planning to migrate our portal from 7.0 to 7.3. We have solution manager 7.0 and but the current portal system is not configured, we are planning to configure Solution Manager for our portal 7.3. Here are my question reg solution manager

1) What are the benefits portal will have when configure Solution Manager

2) Please suggest the version for our portal 7.3

3) How to configure our portal in Solution Manager

There are number of benefits to configure your portal system in solution managerlike

1) maintenance optimizer is mandatory to download patches.

2) You can configure wily report for your portal system.

3) You can configure CTS+ for portal systems in solution manager etc.

In order to configure your system in solution manager. You can define data bridge between SLD of your portal system to your solution manager SLD and subsequently defined system properly in SMSY.
