WSSS - Set Stock Situation

I have a couple of questions about the tcode "WSSS - Set stock situation":

1. Why do we need to use the tcode WSSS ?

2. Is WSSS just for consignment processes?

Hi Yasar,

the answer is simple. WSSS checks, if for a article / store combination there is only "one" stock situation (either own stock or consigment stock). If so, a flag is set an POS Inbound doesn't use the stock determination functionality to check, where to take the stock from - which is so due to performance reasons.
