Hello Guys,
Recently while I was installing Oracle patch using Opatch, got the below error.
Details are:
Source version: 10.2.0.2.0
Target version: 10.2.0.5.1 Patchset 16
Opatch version: 10.2.0.5.1
Even I have stopped all SAP services, Oracle services & COM+* services, still the same issue.
Its showing "oci.dll" is still in use.
Could any one please tell me which service/program use this dll, so that I can stop it & proceed further?
Thanks in Advance.
Regards,
Rajkumar
Hello Rajkumar,
the oci.dll is mostly used and loaded by some windows tools like mmc or processes like svchost.exe.
To find the processes which have an open file handle on the file oci.ddl - please use the SysInternals Process Explorer. You can search for file handles with the "Find Menu".
