patch level for java support package EPBC

Dear All,

I want to downlaod the latest patch for portal componet sap.com/EPBC. When I search for the patch I found two enties for the latsest support pack.

(1) EPBC26P_1-10003473.SCA   Patch for PORTAL CORE SERVICES 7.00 SP26

(2) EPBC26_0-10003473.SCA   SP26 for PORTAL CORE SERVICES 7.00

I want ot understand my serach result. Why there are two patches and what are they for. If I want to go to latestSP level do I need to apply both and what will be the sequence of appliying.

Hi Shubham,

If a components name is followed by P means its a patch for that release/component. Try to upgrade to whole support stack rather than individual components.

Both of them are correct patches.

EPBC26P_1-10003473.SCA   Patch for PORTAL CORE SERVICES 7.00 SP26 is the latest patch.

As the numbering suggests this is SP26 patch 1 and other one is also SP26 but patch level 0.
