Custom field on backend contract not getting populated from SRM contract

Hi All,

I have a custom field added to the SRM contract item structure and the same field is added in the R/3 contract item structure

After the SRM upgrade new standard fields have been added in the SRM contract item structure.

The FM, BBPV_CONTRACT_TRANSFER in R/3 is invoked through RFC to get the SRM Contract replicated in R/3. Due to the addition of standard fields in SRM contract item structure, the field mapping between SRM & R/3 communication structures fails and the contract in backend does not have custom field populated.

I believe an offset mapping happens between the communication structures during RFC.

Is there a way to correct it in SRM. In the BADI's in SRM only the SRM communication structure is available, not the R/3 communication structure.

Please let me now if anyone has faced a similar issue.

Please check the PI payload in ECC whether the custom field is coming to ECC or not.
