NEtweaver 7.3 Java Config Tool

I have locked my Administrator in Netweaver and so am trying to use the Java Config Tool to enable the UME Super User

I go in through

• Cluster data
• Template - Usage_Type_All_In_One
• Services
• Com.Sap.Security.Core.UME.Service

and find the property UME Super User Activated. This property is set to false. When I highlight the property the "set custom value" button is greyed out indicating I cannot change it. I am able to change other properties. How do I get update access to the property.

I have discovered that I was not following the correct steps. SAP Note 1596787 (although aimed at NW 7.1) works on 7.3 and has solved my problem. The steps I showed above and the screen shot above are in view mode not edit mode.

Have you try to set "true" in custom properties data and click set?
