SUP 2.1.2 update on new POC 2.1 system

This may turn out to be quite a basic question.  We are building our first SUP system for POC. 

I have installed SUP 2.1 and it went fine.

on running installebf to update to 2.1.2 it asks "Please provide database login information for updating the CacheDB"  "Enter the user name:". 

No matter what I put in this field I get a joava error (as below).

No matter what ID I enter I get the same failure

Please provide database login information for updating the CacheDB.

Enter the user name: Administrator

Error prompting for CacheDB user account password.

Check the above output for any issues and then press Enter key to exit...

Note I even went and changed the CacheDB service to "Log on" as Administrator but no luck.

This is a brand new installation and the upgrade is being run right after the main 2.1 install (nothing done between apart from stopping and starting the system).

Any help would be appreciated.

you can try login user:dba and password:sql
