sap sd: i defined and assigned co code properly but

when i am trying to create a material i get an error saying the company code does not exist or not fully maintained..can somebody help me

configure the company code for material management. Path-->logistic general-->material master-->basic setting-->maintain company code for materrial management.it will solve your issue 100% sure.

I'd say there is a bit of a contradiction between these two statements.

Exactly what is the error message number, plus the full text of the message?

Please check whether plant is assighned to company code or not?

Go to OBY6 T.code and check all the possible entries are exists , if company code is not copied properly the below error will appear.

Try to maintain IMG path to maintain settings for company code-

Financial accounting-->Financial accounting global settings--> company code-->Enter global parameter

Check the required field whether everything is maintained or not as per the requirement.
