Automatic Inspection lot from PM Order

Hi

I am trying to generate automatic Inspection lot from a Plant maintenance order

I have done the following settings in SAP ECC 6.0

SPRO - Quality Management

1. Creation of a new Inspection Type 

2. Assigning of Inspection Type to Inspection lot Origin 14 (Plant Maintenance)

SPRO - Plant Maintenance

1. Assign the Inspection type to Plant maintenance order type

Master Data

1. Creation of task list for PM Order

2. Assignment of Inspection points in task list

Post this , I have created a PM Order & assigned task list to the order . Now when I am releasing the PM Order , it is getting released , but not creating any inspection lot , which it should

Please provide any help on this

1. Is task list related to  PM ( created through IA01 or IA04)  ?

2.Assign the sampling procedure against each MIC in task list.

3.Create a maintenence plan in IP01 and assign task list there ,even if it is single cycle plan.

Hi Sanddep

The step you have done are correct.

Make mainenance plan and assign that tasklist in that plan. and it is materials activated inspection type 14 in quality view.

Can you expain for which you r creating PM Order in details.??

Hello Sandeep,

Please check your settings:

In Tasklist header of the Respective maintenance plan,Pls give "300" in the Inspection point which is called as " Inspection for Equipment".

So this will do that when maintenance order released,Automatically inspection lot will release in QA32

I think it will solve your issue.
