Hello
I just restarted a server (with a SAP installation) and I have no access to the MaxDB.
x_server seems to be started correctly:
saps0a:s0aadm 8> x_server
2012-05-11 11:37:17 5856 INF 12916 Found running XServer on port 7200
2012-05-11 11:37:17 5856 INF 13011 version 'U64/LIX86 7.8.01 Build 014-121-233-288'
2012-05-11 11:37:17 5856 INF 13010 installation S0A - path: /sapdb/S0A/db
2012-05-11 11:37:17 32160 INF 12916 Found running sdbgloballistener on port 7210
2012-05-11 11:37:17 32160 INF 13011 version 'U64/LIX86 7.8.01 Build 014-121-233-288'
But if I try to connect the DB:
dbmcli -d S0A -u control,[PASSWORD]
a process for each try is started that use the whole CPU:
PID USER PR NI VIRT RES SHR S %CPU %MEM TIME+ COMMAND
6136 sdb 20 0 34156 4112 2880 R 99.9 0.1 7:12.63 dbmsrv
7102 sdb 20 0 34052 3732 2508 R 99.9 0.1 4:37.36 dbmsrv
[The whole cmd is /sapdb/S0A/db/pgm/dbmsrv -sdbstarter 501 502 A -P 00000006000000090000000a0000000d]
Any idea would be appreciated.
Thank you and regards,
Tommaso
1)
stop all processes dbmsrv
2)
cd /var/lib/sdb/dbm/ipc
mv S0A.dbm.shi S0A.dbm.shi.old
mv S0A.dbm.shm S0A.dbm.shm.old
